Hollow Metal Frames

In our frame inventory we carry all the common sizes, frame depths and configurations that are typically found in commercial construction. All frames are stocked knock-down, primed, and prepared for 3 standard weight 4 1/2" hinges and an ASA strike.  Appropriate anchors and silencers are also included.  Combined with our frame fabrication shop, we have the ability to construct custom elevations and preparations to all your needs.

Widths from 2'-0" to 8'-0" in 2" increments.

 Standard Plumb Anchor

 Drywall frames are ordered by throat sizes. The list of throat sizes above will fit all configurations of metal and wood studs with 1/2" and 5/8" gypsum board. Installation of knockdown drywall frames is a simple procedure.

Masonry Series

Widths from 2'-0" to 8'-0" in 2" increments.

Heights available
in 6'-8" & 7'-0", and select in 8'-0".

Masonry frames are ordered by overall frame depth. 5 3/4" frame depth is the most common frame as it can be butted to almost any concrete masonry unit. It is also available with a 4" head to match block coursing on 7'-0" height. For exterior applications we stock a 14 ga. galvaneal 5 3/4"frame depth in 6'-8" and 7'-0".

Double Egress

Double Egress Profile

Available depths:

5 3/4" overall depth for 4 5/8" and 4 7/8" walls.

7 1/8" overall to fit 6 1/8" wall

Double egress are used in special situations where there is heavy traffic flow such as hallways in hospitals & schools. This configuration allows the doors to swing in opposite directions, but meet evenly in the center of the frame. These frames must be welded.
